Despite its reptilian look, Dimetrodon is more closely related to us than a lizard!

Megalodon was the largest shark ever, reaching leangths of 18 meters!

Its teeth were the size of your hand!

Dunkleosteus was a monstrous killer fish that lived in the Devonian period.

It didn't have teeth, instead, it had boney plates.

Mosasaurus And Other Mosasaurs

In the Cretaceous period, a new group of underwater hunters appeared.
THE MIGHTY MOSASAURS.
But not all Mosasaurs were so mighty.
Clidastes was only 4 meters long.
So how did Clidastes survive?
One theory is that they lived in the shallow water leaving the larger Mosasaurs like Tylosaurus to the deep sea.
